Personal Narrative Planning
One of my ideas for my 'Personal Narrative' project is many pictures and drawings of different things I do or different items that represent who I am as the background. In the foreground there will be a saying or something with writing that represents me. I like this idea because it incorporates both text and visuals. This idea was inspired by different posters and collages I have seen. Specifically, the "Baby Driver" poster that's displayed on the left of class inspired this idea because that poster incorporates different aspects of the movie that are all meaningful. The "Baby Driver" poster includes all of the main characters in a way that describes their personality. For example Baby, the star of the movie, has his earphones in and looks very focused, which speaks to his character. He is also the largest face and at the top because he has the most important role in the movie. The poster also includes the main theme of the movie, a quick getaway, shown by the car chase. I want my piece to symbolize me, so the longer you look, the more you see. I'm not sure what I could use to symbolize me but I have many ideas including my water bottle, wristbands, school, family and friends. I'm not sure how it will turn out but I'm excited to begin this process.
